Working with animator and director Jon Dunleavy Luke has penned a couple of poetic narratives for film.
Most recently he co-wrote with Joel Stickley Crash! Bang! Wallow!, the story of a suicidal stuntman pushed out of his job by CGI. The film, itself a masterpiece of CGI, won the National Film Board of Canada short film competition at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival:
Luke and Jon first worked together on The Technical Hitch, the story of an electrical anomaly who is the cause of all technical malfunctions. The Techincal Hitch was shown at The Cannes and Edinburgh Film Festivals in 2006.
