First collection on the way

I’m excited, nay delighted, to announce that my first full collection of poems will be published in February 2013 by Penned in the Margins. Provisionally entitled Mondeo Man, it will feature my very best poems to date. There is likely to be about 30 poems in all, including the bulk of my last two shows Cynical Ballads and Your New Favourite Poet.

Penned in the Margins are a great independent press, publishers of my good friend Ross Sutherland and recent receivers of a PBS recommendation for their excellent anthology Adventures in Form.  They’re also live literature producers and I worked with them last year on Riot Acts, out of which my REVOLT! piece grew.

To date the only publication of my poems has been 2009’s High Performance (Nasty Little Press). This only featured 13 short poems, most of which will not be reproduced in Mondeo Man. So all in all, it’s a pretty big deal for me and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the editing process with Penned in the Margins’ editor Tom Chivers.
